Thursday, Oct. 8, 6:30 PM FOLLOW YOUR LUCKY STARS
The two brightest "stars" in the night sky are Jupiter and Venus, the planets of luck and love. Ancient astrologers call them the "benefics" because they're so beneficial. Janet will tell you what signs these two planets were in when you were born (not necessarily your "Sun sign"), what they indicate (especially if they connect to other planets at your birth), and when they'll shine their best for you! Be sure to come early to have your planetary positions looked up.

Looking for Love in All the Right Places in Your Chart
Sat., Nov. 3, 2012 Boston NCGR in Belmont, MA.
Basic astrology teaches us to look for love potentials by checking the sign and aspects of Venus and, if the birth time is known, the 7th House, its rulers and any occupants. This is a great start, but only scratches the surface! Drawing on decades of doing relationship readings, I will share useful techniques to add to your repertoire and take you well beyond the basics. We'll explore Arabic Parts, asteroids, midpoints, return charts, additional ways of viewing Venus, progressions to determine peak years for relationships, and my specialty, the Vertex, a potent and little understood point.

Lecture for Northern New Jersey Chapter, NCGR - Nov. 11, 2011
TOPIC: Sol-Lunar Threepeats Janet's latest thinking on the interactive dance between the Moon and the Sun (well, of course, the earth is intimately involved, as well). Neither of the luminaries ever goes Retrograde the way the planets do to give us 3 chances at using an aspect to another planet. BUT in the course of a lunar cycle, the Moon goes through the range of degrees from one New Moon to the next twice, once in the first 2 days and again in the last 2 day of the cycle as it catches up to the Sun, which moved through those degrees once. So, there are your three times. You can use this concept with the transits or look at it for additional information about the lunar cycle in which you were born and the consequent cycles that roll out into the progressed lunar cycles of your life. It even gives a new perspective on what's happening with your lunar returns.
If you can't make this lecture, you can always buy the CD from Janet's presentation of this topic at UAC 2008.
